Default Blackberry application installer

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have this application (jad + cod) file. My requirement is that instead of installing the application through OTA or USB through blackberry dektop manager.

Is there any way to design an exe file so that when i click the exe it will detect the device and install the application on the connected device.

Does any one have any idea any links, information will be really helpfull.

Thanks in advance.

maybe rim has a new javaloader executable that you can leverage. the old one lets you look, manage, and delete modules on the device, perhaps there's a newer one that lets you on-board modules

Excerpt from the JDE 4.6.1 version of javaloader help:

load <.cod file> ...
Loads modules onto the handheld

load <.jad file>
Load modules described by JAD onto the handheld

load @<manifest> ...
Loads all modules named in <manifest> onto the handheld
