Default how can i draw without paint() method?

Please Login to Remove!

hi,

i've got such a problem-i need to draw a rectangle, but without paint() method! it is because my application makes screenshots and send it to server. and it goes total crazy, because of paint method-it sends at the beginng the whole rectangle, then part of it, the whole one, then again part of it.. i was wondering why and now i realized that it is caused by the paint() method. i really need to have this rectangle, as my main screen must be divided to 2 screens. and also i would like that my rectangle be grey. i have no idea how to do it without paint(). Do anyone of You has any suggestions?

kind regards
