Please Login to Remove!

Hi

Does anyone know why the Error 401 unauthorize error occurs during downloading the application?

Any ideas.

Thanks in advance.

afaik this is a IT Policy configuration that precludes users from downloading 3rd party applications.

Or the download page requires some sort of authentication.

Yup, 401 is the error number for http protocol authentication required, ie the web server is looking or authentication.

Thanks

But what kind of authentication is the server looking for. The blackberry is already configured on the BES and the user is able to access the intranet sites then what kind of autentication is it asking for.

Thanks again..

You would need to take that up with the web server administrator.
