Default ApplicationPermission for 4.2.0

Please Login to Remove!

This has probably been asked before. Is there a way to check for application permission for 4.2.0?

I know that for OS 4.2.1+ I can use ApplicationPermissionsManager.

Thumbs up

humm interesting... the answer is no but you can check this depends on your requirement...

Say you want to check whether the Keystroke Injection permission is enabled or not( By default this will be disabled for an application installed in BB devices).

use this code.

try
{
EventInjector.invokeEvent(new EventInjector.KeyEvent(
EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_DOWN,' ',
KeypadListener.STATUS_NOT_FROM_KEYPAD,1));
EventInjector.invokeEvent(new EventInjector.KeyEvent(
EventInjector.KeyEvent.KEY_UP,' ',
KeypadListener.STATUS_NOT_FROM_KEYPAD,1));
}
catch(Exception e)
{
// you can get an exception here, if the keystroke injection //permission is in DENY status.

}

You can catch the exception and inform the user with the help of some pop-up dialog boxes

cheers...
