Unhappy Hoe to change the Server Timezone in simulator

Please Login to Remove!

Hi All,

i am facing an issue in setting the desired timezone in the simulator.
I changed the DEVICE TIMEZONE using Device.Settimezone() method, which changed the default timezone(GMT) to my desired timezone(GMT+05:30). Then to check the result, i used Date date = new Date(). It printed the current date time as i expected. I used a "DateField" to get the user input then i stored it as a reminder. But when i opened the task application, it was showing the default timezone only. What is my mistake?
(i.e ) The user entered date and time is 30 Mar 2009 12:30
The date displayed under task application is 30 Mar 2009 07:00

Is it the problem with the server timezone. Do i need to server timezone also?

Any help is highly appreciated.

thanks.
