Default Storm - 9530 - unable to install on device

Please Login to Remove!

I'm new to blackberry development and have a java application I am trying to install on the device. I'm using the command prompt and javaloader to install on the device, but I'm getting the following error.

javaloader -u load myprogram.jad

C:\BlackBerry\myprogram\trunk>javaloader -u load myprogram.jad

Connecting to device...debug: HRESULT error during Open: 80040154
Error: unable to open port

I would greatly appreciate any help on this issue.

I assume you checked and the USB cable is properly plugged in?

Are you running on Vista? Try opening the command prompt as "Administrator".

Or just use the Desktop Manger to load the program. Also IIRC you are supposed to specify a COD file for this invocation, not a JAD file. Or leave the extention off and it will assume .cod
