Hello everyone;

I am a beginner in my area since the end of study is the connection between my smartphine blackberry and database.
I started to create a simple GUI around but my request for an interface with icons instead of bottone.
Please help me to free my first step is changing the appearance of bottone and the background.
Also tell me how well I'd like to work with events and methods that I should use.
Thank you in advance.

You can extend BitmapField and set the "FOCUSABLE" property - then you can treat the BitmapField like a button, adding a FieldChangeListener to it to detect clicks.

Take a look at the sample programs that ship with the JDE - there are several that will help you.

CustomButton and TicTacToe both look promising.

I'm really sorry, but I have found no examples with the JDE. Please tell me where I will find them exactly.
thank you
