Default Problem Using Perstlite Database in Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Hi
Has anyone worked with Perstlite DB on blackberry. My application when started writes some information in the perstlite DB and then latter on queries the DB for partcular information required at that time.
But the problem is after i keep my application in background by using the request.Background(), and then query the DB for some info, the root object returned is not same as the one created when storing the information at start up. i.e. a new root object is created and so it is not able to find the data.

1. Can't we use the DB when we minimize our applications?
2. Can't we use a DB created by using one application in another application?

Any links or infos will be really helpfull.

Thanks in advance.
