|  BES Push Data Limit

I am new to BES.
I am using a trial version of BES 4.1. I have a Push Initiator application residing
on a JBoss server which is connecting to BES ,to push data to the BB8700 device.The device has a PushListener class that listens to the Push message.The data size is 500KB.But the size of the data received on device is hardly t 7.7 kb. I have increased the MAximum KB/Connection of FLow Control in Blackberry Manager of BES to 1024 KB. Can anyone help me solve as to how to send the large data content from Push Initiator to device or is that the limitation on Push API.
