Default Showing continous streamed data on screen and refreshing the screen accordingly

Please Login to Remove!

hello all,

I am developing an application in BB, in which I am getting data continously from web service. i need to display this data on the Screen.

I am getting response of a sytem from that web service, and I need to show this data graphically on the screen. That web service will reurn coordinates of that data, and I need to show this data on screen. So, that web service will continously send this data, i need to get that data and display it on screen, so my screen should refresh periodicall(100ms) and show the sent data.

I searched a lot on forum abt this, but not got any solution.

What will be the best way to do this task.

i was thinking of streaming the returned data and keeping it in buffer, and then drawing the waveform on screen.

has anybody tried something like this.

Or do you have any sample app like this?
I was wondering, is there any BB way to achieve this task.

I mean, a connection thread will always run to get the latest data from web service, and update the buffer. I will use this buffer to show the data on screen and update the screen accordingly.

Is anyone have any sample application related to this OR any suggestios abt this.

Thanks and appreciate your response,
