| sign app that auto-runs Please Login to Remove! Hi everybody,
i have written an application for my blackberry, that runs fine without signing it with the signature tool of JDE.
Now i want to let the application run on startup. After researching how to do this i found out, that i just have to check the checkboxes in the properties of my project (properties->application->auto-run on startup), but that the application then needs to be signed. So i registered for code-signing, got the 3 .csi files and installed them.
Now the signature tool showed Status='Not signed', Category='Optional' for all my .cod files. I signed the files and installed it on my blackberry.
The application does not autostart, it still shows an icon (auto-run + system module checked) and when i try to start the app manually i get an error message stating that the app needs to be signed...
btw: it works on the simualtor, meaning it autostarts, does not show the icon and give's no error.
What am i doing wrong?
update: after deleting the .cod files and rebuiling + signing them i don't get the error on the device anymore. but my app does not auto-run... any ideas?
