Default Using the Simulator for Documentation - 11-17-2005, 09:27 AM

I wanted to use the simulator for creating some documentation. I am unable to get the desktop services loaded on the BlackBerry so I can show all the options. Specifically, before you activate a BlackBerry, you do not have all the options under Messages->Options. I have tried restoring functional service books from a live device with no success...

Any suggestions?

As an alternate solution... If you have a 7100 or 8700 (I think) series BlackBerry you can use javaloader.exe to grab screenshots from a fullly functional device. I created a batch file to make javaloader a bit easier to use. You can download the batch file and any required files from THIS thread.

Much better solution. Excellent little utility d_fisher. Very simple and it gets the job done perfectly. Excellent for screenshots!
