I run a software development company that specializes in developing custom applications. I've recently had a client interested in some work. What are the posible language that can be developed in this tech?

If you want to write stand-alone apps for the device, it's Java.

You might also write a webb app or an app that relies on RIM's BES/MDS infrastructure.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish, and who is the target user.
