Default How To Add PROGRESS BAR ???!!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello developers. I was searching for the solution but i didn't found what i want. I am new in bb development.I hope someone will help me.

Here is my problem. I have a menu -screen with buttons. When i click the button it starts newScreen, but it takes some time to show because newScreen is parsing xml. So i want to add progress bar which just show label Loading.. or Clock picture. I want know how to do it. I should start new thread? put the progress bar into newScreen constructor or how to do it? If someone know solution please answer. Example code will be the best way. Thanks a lot for replays.

For better understanding:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

in menu, when i push button,i start new screen this way:

UiApplication.getUiApplication().pushScreen(new newScreen());

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

newScreen constructor

class newScreen extends MainScreen{

....

public newScreen(){

super();

// parsing xml here

}

}

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Default

Get the parsing of the XML out of the ctor and into a thread. I just replied to another question with how to set that up.

new Dialog() hides dialog box behind screen? :(
