|  voicemail number retrieval via network
Please Login to Remove! a lot of carriers pre-program your phone when you buy it, but recently a lot of service information is OTA. my question is, how does my phone know what my voicemail number is without my having programmed it in - programatically, how is it retrieved via the network when the modem registers?
i've seen reference to AT+CSVM for set/get of the voicemail number but that's just a storage entry to my understanding. it's not a command which actually fetches your voicemail number from the network.
