Default Auto run application with Ui interface

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I want my application to auto run on blackberry at the time of installation and when we restart the mobile phone. Along with this i want to some user interface also to get some information from user.
To make application auto run i have done
Project->Properties->Blackberry Project Properties->Application
Checked - System Module
Checked - Auto run on startup

By doing htis my application is auto running. But it is not showing any GUI.

Please help.

Remove the "System Module" property. This causes the application to be hidden form the user.

Thanks for your reply.

I only want first time GUI interface to get some data from user. After that application should run in background without showing any icon on desktop or under application folder.

Then you'll have to recognize that you were already started once, and ignore subsequent entries via the icon.

Override Aplicatin.protected boolean acceptsForeground() to return true until the first run, then return false.

This is not working with autorun. I am not able to view any screen. I have to click o n icon to view the screen. I want when the phone starts the GUI will come automatically.

That is a different situation. Read this KB article on displaying to the UI during startup.
