Default IPC b/w two comunications

Hi ppl,

I am a newbie to Blackberry Developer.

I hv developed two separate applications 1st is background and other is UI,now I want to use IPC b/w these two.Uptill, I knw that it is possible by using ApplicationManager Class, postGlobalEvent(). But, I m still having some confusions.

Any help from anyone will help me al ot...

There are many ways to accomplish inter process communications, depending on your specific needs. A more specific question may get you a better response. Using a keyboard with all the letters on it would make the question more readable, for example:
I figured out hv in this context is have, and knw is know; but have no idea what IPC b/w is supposed to mean.

Thanx a lot for the reply, Well, I am really sorry for the short words I used in my post.

I am explaining u my problem in detail, I have developed two separate applications 1st is background (This extends Application), its sample code is:

public class BG extends Application
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{

}

BG()
{

}
}

and other is UI,

public class UI extends UiApplication
{
public static void main(String[] args)
{

}


UI()
{

/* This application displays a screen, in which there are
few checkBoxField e.g. SMS If user disable/enable this
field, then corresponding value T/F must be updated to
Settings file which belongs to BG application.

Now, I want to accomplish inter process communications between these two, so that I can update these values to Settings class which is a class of static type...

I think, now you can understand my problem. Uptill, I knw that it is possible by using ApplicationManager Class,

abstract boolean postGlobalEvent(int processId, long guid, int data0, int data1, Object object0, Object object1)

But, I m still having some confusions, regarding its arguments (how to retreive processid & guid).. I need some sample code to do this, Any help would be greatly appreciable...
