Default Drawing graph / charts in Blackberry application

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Can anyone please tell me how we can create a graph / chart in blackberry application. I am using JDE 4.2 and it seems there is no API for creating graphs. basically i need to create graphs depending on the values the user provides.

Please share your thoughts how i can create such app.

Thanks.

I'm looking for the same. From whatever small googling that I've done, it looks like there is no direct control/API for chart creation in BlackBerry, however, the workaround is to develop a component using basic UI API's.

This forum is full of question and no answers? Where are those crackberry geeks? any other good forum?

On the BB platform, there is no high-level API to do this. You will have to create your own custom Field subclass that draws the graphs using the low-level Graphics routines.

See Field, Graphics, in the API docs.

Default Drawing graph / charts in Blackberry application

You can do this in paint method and by using drawLine for graph and fillrect for chart.
