Default persistent store question (newbie)

Hi,
I have an app that need to store daily payment transactions log on the phone and the log should be automatically discard after 1 day. Right now, i store all these transactions into a persistent store and display fine but I run into problem of don't know when to destroy the persistent store as I don't know the creation time to compare. Am I doing this the right way? Should I use persistent store or something else (like file store) for this purpose?

Why don't you store the date along with the data?

Like the previous post says, store date /time of the record too.
Persistent store is just fine for ur app, file store is not needed for this requirement.
