Default BB and TCP port 61617

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there,

We've developed a J2me app that uses the stomp protocol on TCP port 61617. The app runs on all phones but doesn't seem to connect on the BB (tested on BB 8310 and BB 8900 and various emulators). The above BB phones are working fine using the default Vodafone BIS in terms of internet traffic.

Can anyone confirm:

1) Can we get the port to work on the BB?
2) Is there a better port we should be using instead (apart from the HTTP(s) ports)

Thanks,

Aragon
