Default how to allow BitmapFields to overlap each other when focused?

Please Login to Remove!

I have two bitmapFields placed side by side on a custom Field Manager (so sublayout method is used to draw these bitmapFields).
The requirement is i want one bitmapfield to overlap the other partially when it is focused.
I have overwritten the onFocus and onUnFocus of both the bitmapFields as below:
Code:
final Bitmap helpSelect = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(select);
final Bitmap helpUnSelect = Bitmap.getBitmapResource(unselect);
m_bfHelp = new BitmapField(helpUnSelect, Field.FOCUSABLE) {
	protected void onFocus(int direction) {
		super.onFocus(direction);
		setBitmap(helpSelect);
		m_lfSelectedMenu.setText(HELP);
	}

	protected void onUnfocus() {
		super.onUnfocus();
		setBitmap(helpUnSelect);
	}
};
Each BitmapField is created in pattern mentioned above. I need the focused image to be bigger than unfocused image, so focused icon looks bigger than others. But when the focus is on one image, the other unfocused image does not get overlapped, instead the highlighted image is drawn partially.
Can anyone suggest how to achieve overlapping of images?
