Issue with " translation with browser

Hello Folks,

I have a web application created which reads a JSON embedded in div in the JSP (created by the server). I am reading this document element with an innerhtml within my javascript, but the embedded double quotes in the json gets translated to " when reaching the javascript. So when I evaluate the JSON with prototype evalJSon, it gives a badly formed json error.

This happens only on the Blackberry browser. Don't have issues with Firefox/IE/IPhone Safari..

Any thoughts/help is greatly appreciated..
