Default Blackberry Application problem... PLEASE HELP!

Please Login to Remove!

Hello

we are a University of Toronto electrical engineering 4rth year group, doing a design project on a health monitoring system on Blackberry.
We need to find a way to send data into the blackberry from a microcontroller, use the data for the blackberry application, and send data out.

I could not find much information based on external device connections to blackberry.
My questions are:

1) what kind of input cables can be used? (30bit cables possibly?)
2) what other options do we have for sending data in and out? (bluetooth? )
3)how much data can be sent at once? I am not very familiar with sending data through USB.. how does it work?

if you know anything else that might help please let us know.

Thanks, roozbeh
