Hi

I want to validate an email address . How it is possible? pls help.

you could use a regx to validate the email, obviously this would only help to say that the address is formed correctly.

If you google it there are some out there I have used is

"^([0-9a-zA-Z]([-.\w]*[0-9a-zA-Z])*@([0-9a-zA-Z][-\w]*[0-9a-zA-Z]\.)+[a-zA-Z]{2,9})$"

it works for me but as i said there are others available

Blackberry (j2me) does not support the regular expression, I think so.
I have used pattern and matcher class .but these classes uses the java.util.regex, and blackberry does not support the regular expression.
pls give me the method which u used for blackberry

Have a look at net.rim.device.api.ui.text.EmailAddressTextFilter
