Listen Phone Events In Own Application

Hello Everyone,

Can anyone please help me with listening phone events in my application. Actually the problem which i am facing is that..

When my application is running and at that time if i am showing an animation image for any downloading process at that time if any missed call is received on phone then what happens my screen on which i was drawing that animation gets white complete and on top of that missed call notification my animation screen is drawn.

I am not getting reason why its happening.Please help me out.
