Default RIM API Web Shortcut - 11-05-2009, 09:34 PM

I'm very new to both Blackberry and Java development. By "new" I mean "before three weeks ago the only programming I'd done was administrative scripting". I'm determined to, eventually, write my own blogger app that works with the new Google Data APIs.

In my efforts to build my coding knowledge, I've taken Jonathan Fisher's code for making a BB homescreen web shortcut, hard-coded it to point to the RIM API documentation and added three custom menu items to the Browser application: one for Java language tutorials, one for java mobility tutorials and one for the API sample code on Blackberry's site...the sites I usually reference when trying to build Blackberry apps. Also added a custom homescreen icon...though I don't know if it's legal or not.

I wrote it for my own use, but if anyone's interested, IM me and I'll figure out how to zip the source, or export the NetBeans project, and upload it
