Default Blackberry maps

Please Login to Remove!

Can i plot all the European cities like london ,melbon,syndey,Amsterdam to the black berry maps??if it is not,which maps can i prefered to plot all these cities???

If you are asking about coverage areas, take a look at BlackBerry - BlackBerry Maps More Information . I don't see Austrailia.

Note, you will need a blackberry data plan on your mobile account. Blackberry Maps downloads the map data on the go from the blackberry/RIM network. It will not work on generic mobile data service.

Can u say the points of interests available on blackberry maps by default??

You have to provide the "points of interest" when invoking the map using the Location document.

But error displaying on this line

MapsArguments ma = new MapsArguments(MapsArguments.ARG_LOCAL_SEARCH, "hotels", "Waterloo");


and getting the error message as 'MapsArguments.ARG_LOCAL_SEARCH' cannot be resolved

I'm not aware of any ARG_LOCAL_SEARCH, and apparently it does not exist in the API.

Have you looked at the API javadocs for the JDE level that you are using?

Then pls tell me how to plot a 'points of interest' like major hotels in a location?

You would compose a location document containing a list of these points of interest. This is described in the KB article that I linked for you earlier.
