Default Localization of MidletName in jad

Please Login to Remove!

My Application Name is "máv"(containing accentuated character 'á') and the users need to download this application via OTA.

For this i have placed "Midlet-Name" attribute in jad with value as "máv".

When i go for OTA download of jad, the application name shown on confirmation message or progressBar is "m?v" i.e. it contains junk characters in place of the accentuated character.

The encoding used is UTF-8.

Please help.

Default

It seems more likely that the font being used in the progress bar display doesn't have that character.
