Please Login to Remove!

Hey
I would like to monitor all data/GPRS/internet that my BB device is using.
I would like to know how much im using and what are the applications that uses the most data.

I thought of making my own app for this.
is there API for this? what API should I use?

is there a difference if Im using BES?

Thanks

There are various APIs available for the information you require. Please check the APIs under the classes: DeviceInfo, RadioInfo, ApplicationManager.getVisibleApplications for the getting the device info, data tx/rx & running applications.

thanks.
I have looked at the above API, but I can only get how much data was passed and not to where it has passed, for example how much data used for youtube.com , or to facebook.com (using radioinfo) and only get the applications that are open and their name but not if they are using internet, and how much internet.
I saw that I can add to an application a radio listener, but can I do it to applications that are already installed on the BB

Did I miss something? please elaborate more.

Thanks

I think you may not add radio listener to already installed BB applications.

Mark (Sohm), can you please confirm this. thanks.

In the Blackberry environment it is generally not possible for App A to know what App B is doing unless App B specifically exposes that information.
