Hello,
I found one cool IM program called MailAgent Mail.Ru Агенxxx8218;
This is the most popular IM program in Russia.
It written on Java, work with a lot of devices..
I try to install on bold 9700, starts ok, but wont connect to internet..
there is two futures : Check Mail and Chat with Friends. I can check Mail no problems, but when I try to connect to Chat appears ERROR.
On their web site said. That I need GPRS and set APN internet.com but I'm on TMo and their APN epc.tmobile.com
May be it's easy to fix... ???

I attach that program JAD JAR files (and Extracted JAR file)
Attached Files
File Type: zip MailAgent.zip (523.4 KB, 8 views)

You can set the APN in your device configuration.

That doesn't make any sense, sorry. The app doesn't care what is set in the APN setting in the device, as long as this is correct for the carrier.

You better go back and get some help from the app developer.

I've tried to contact developers, no luck... they said Blackberry is no popular in Russia.. so they not looking forward making one for blackberry ((((((

When i try to log in I've got error "java.io.IOException.invalid url parameter" explains that i'm not connected to internet..

I think the problem is that this app doesn't support Direct TCP connection...

Is it possible to change something in files to fix it?

"Invalid URL" does not mean you are not connected, it means you have an invalid URL.

You can also get this from putting in an incorrectly formed APN, since the APN is appended to the URL by the HTTP engine.

From the home screen:

Settings / Options / Advanced Options / TCP/IP

Change the APN settings here.
