Default Help in developing BlackBerry Application

Hi.. I want to develop Blackberry Applications.. I know basics of java only.. don't have any knowledge of j2me.. From where should i start ? Should i learn J2me or directly work on j2me with blackberry ?? Please suggest..

Download the Blackberry JDE (or the Eclipse plugin, if you are already an Eclipse user) and look at the sample code.

The RIM API's are built on top of J2ME, but there are also many extensions. If you are targeting Blackberry as your principle platform, then don't bother with J2ME.

Your first step should be to get the simple executable working (hello world) Good luck! You will need it if this is your first BB app
