Default How to Re Activate Signature Key?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I had been using RIM Keys to sign apps that use Restricted APIs without any problem

But the other day , just after signing the app , I thought I would unsign it until I make some more modifications and hit the Revoke Signature key ( at the extreme right )

Now when I tried to sign the app again it showed that I needed to register the Signature keys

I tried it a few times , by turning on the computer etc but without any luck

But it was always showing the same message

I then thought about registering the same Signature Keys and when I fdid it , it showed an error saying the signature and the PIN had been used once

Now I am not even able to invoke the Signature tool

Does any one know what to do ?

"revoke Signature" does exactly that - kills your keys at the signing server.

You can no longer utilize these keys.

BTW, you don't need to revoke anything. Your COD file(s) are replaced each time you build the app, and they have to be signed again.

Great !!!

Do you mean it is not possible to roll it back ?

When I tried reregistering it , it showed something like contact the RIM support but didn't give the contact details

And I was not able to get the Key registering Screen after the failed attempt

You might be able to contact the RIM support folks and get them to reset your PIN so that you can re-activate.
