when i try my code in emulator running successfully.. but after I installed to device and i try connection database entry.
on device experienced an tunnel failed error..

What device? What OS? What Carrier?

Most likely, you are not appending any connection parameters to your URL. DEpending on the device and network, you probably need ";deviceside=true" plus APN info.

I use 8520 curve, os blackberry, and carier at&t
i use http connection to connect database..
I already use "deviceside=true" in my connection parameters

i don't know about apn info.. do u have solution?

Many new blackberry developers are facing this problem like http connection problem, on real device http connection is not working ,tunnel failed error, etc. i think Dougsg38p, one good article required on this forum explaining this problem.

Your carrier probably requires APN info to get connected. You can set the APN data in your device options (TCP Options), or you can control it programmatically by appending the APN info in your URL.

On the simulator, you do not need APN info.

For AT&T:

AT&T

Gateway IP: 10.250.250.250

Port: 9201

APN: proxy
