Default Device directory

Hi brothers, i want to pick a file from device directory, i am able to do that through FilePicker class but this class is only available in BB5.0, but i want to create that application in 4.3, problem is that, this class is not available in 4.3 api, instead of adding this jar into 4.3 id does not work, is there any other way to do that. plz help me.
