Default RTSP environment for video camera

Please Login to Remove!

I am not a developer and have no idea what RTSP etc. means, however, I recently installed a video surveillance system in my home and would like to view it on my Storm 2. I have a 3rd party app. called DMSS, but have been told I need to first load the RTSP environment on my blackberry, which is a BIN file. The application (zip file) cam be downloaded at SecurityCamera1.com. I loaded the application using my desktop manager, however, it does not work correctly and probably has something to do with the RTSP environment, whatever that means? Any help (in laymen's terms) is appreciated very much.

Default .bin file

The BIN file is for your DVR, not your blackberry. That 'RTSP_System_V2.606.0000.0.R.20100108.bin' needs to be renamed to 'update.bin' and then put on the root directory of a usb memory stick. Place that in the DVR usb port (must only be LE-A,LE-L and LE-S model) and go to menu / info / version & select 'upgrade' on the dvr & update the firmware. That will enable RTSP on the DVR.
