Default Blackberry Code Signing

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I am using some APIs which require signing to deploy and run on real devices. It says I have to pay 20USD. I have 3 questions regarding this.

1. I have to provide my PIN number. What if I don't have a real device?
2. I am using Blackberry JDE on both of my laptop and desktop computers. Can I use same key on both computers.
3. Do I need to get Code signing for each and every application I am developing.

Can anybody explain me this. Thank you.

Regards,
Prasad

Hmm, don't recall providing this when I got my signing keys, but things may have changed.

You can use the keys from as many computers as you want.

No, you can sign virtually an unlimited number of applications with one set of keys. You will have to re-sign each time you make a change however.

Hi friend,

Thank you for your reply.

I tried to get signing. But they do not accept my credit card. Do you know any email address to contact the relevant division?

Thanks

Prasad.

The PIN they ask for is not your device pin, it is a 10-digit number that you provide (ANY 10-digit number, but make sure that you keep it stored away someplace, you will need it to activate the keys).
