Default call to content server

Please Login to Remove!

I have a webmethod at content server which requires e-mailId and PIN of the user. I have 2 choices to call a webMethod from blackberry device (via MDS/BES) in this case.

1) Make a HTTP call to webservice which when redirected by MDS will have these 2 valued attached by MDS in the HTTP header.

2) Fetch the e-mailID and PIN from device itself (from system variables) before calling a webservice and pass these as one the parameters of webmethod.

Which of these 2 methods are better and why?
Is there any other better approach to do the same ?

Thanks in advance
