Question let's do this small cool project - download and save youtube videos

Please Login to Remove!

wouldn't it be nice to download youtube videos

well there is this free service Zamzar - Free online file conversion that lets your add a URL to the video, pick the format and specify the email you want the URL from where you can download the converted file of your video

Well if you are on a blackberry - that's a lot of steps in between

ideally one would want to maybe email the URL(s) and get back the videos as attachments to your blackberry

at first maybe a simplified version would work:
a custom .html page were one would go to add the URL (with format and your email prefilled)

get back a reply with a DIRECT URL to the converted video file

What do you think?

Can anyone give any hints or wants to do this?

PS I assume a cronjob of a PHP or Perl script that will check the POP3 of the email account specified to deliver the link to
then go to that link and obtain the direct URL to the file or the file it self and email that to the blackberry
