Default BIS-B connection string, what a shame...

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
as always developer may have noticed when making a software that use internet on BB, BIS-B is mandatory to get a reliable internet connection on our software.

To enable bis-b on our socket we can just append this string to our url:
;ConnectionType=mds-public

Is there someone who know why this string is a XXX secret from RIM?

Default

I'm confused, this this the string to access BISB?

My question is if this is the string to access BIS-B:

;deviceside=false;ConnectionType=mds-public

and if we are allowed to use it.

Using this string my software works like a charm on every operator but

am I allowed to use this string? I'm not a pirate, if I can use it I will use it,

if not I will not use it and I will abandon Blackberry development,

at least on software that requires internet connection.
