Default Unable to display Arabic using JDE - LWUIT

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm trying to display arabic content using LWUIT components in blackberry JDE, but it is displaying some junk characters or question marks.

We are getting arabic content through webservices and I tried in different ways to dispaly it but didn't succed.

1. Tried to display as is but it displayed junk charactes.

2. Tried building arabic string using "utf-8" encoding, but same response.

3. Tried to convert into "Unicode" characters and then try to decode to arabic characters then it is displaying "????".

I'm working in Blakcberry JDE with LWUIT,KXML. with 4.5OS

Note : I have configured "Arabic" on my simulator. I'm able to see arabic from other applications I've built without LWUIT,KXML and which is built on Eclipse. And also the same app is working fine in Nokia(J2ME Apps).

Please help me in displaying arabic content in blackberry.

Thanks in advance,

Yadhu
