i try to run my application in my terminal curve 8520(os 4.6) and in the simulator bold 9000 (with eclipse) but i get the following error:
Class 'net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen' not found.
what i know is that os 4.1 or hiegher supports this class, so why i get exception in my devices with OS 4.6
if i run the app in other simulators or devices with OS 5.0.0 it works fine !!

Which compiler level did you use to compile the code?

I'm guessing that you compiled under 5.0, and tried to deploy on 4.6. This is not supported.
