Hi all, newbie on blackberry with Eclipse 3.5/BlackBerry Java SDK 5.0 environment, trying to install BlackBerry Java SDK 6.0 following instructions on "BlackBerry Java Plug-in for Eclipse Update Site" but it ended up failing with error message "Unable to read repository at ..."

I am trying to write the app that decode QR Code using google zxing and it seems that I need SDK 6.0.

Any comment/help will be appreciated.

I suppose you are talking about installing BB SDK (not Java SDK)

Goto Eclipse Help-->Install New Software
And type the eclipse update site there

This will give you list of BB SDK from which you will have to select proper SDK
it will ask you your BB developers Username & Pass after some time
Close & start eclipse the option is there in your configuration

Finally I could install SDK 6.0 by changing Proxy settings:

At Windows XP, Internet Options, LAN Settings,

Untick "Automatically detect settings"
Untick "Use automatic configuration script"
Tick "Use a proxy server..."
Tick "Bypass proxy server for local addresses"

Then it worked as described in instructions.
