Post To get details information of one application program from another application prog..

I am creating an sms application program where i am getting exception that "sms port already used". Can i get that which application program is currently using that port number.

I am sucessfully getting all the appication name in my mobile programmatically. but no details...

Thanks in advanced... please reply soon...

No, you cannot determine the name of the application using the port.

I suggest that you utilize the datagram method to listen for SMS, which does not have the single-application limitation.

I am developing an applicatoin which would give me mobile number of the sms which comes on default port.
I want to read the sms info which comes on default port..
I am using datagram for sending the sms but for listen the sms i need to used default port "ZERO" .
can i have any solution on it...............

Like I said, use the datagram method to listen for the SMS.

Question

ok thanks once again...

But can i listen service sms or sms send by any body on that phone number.
ie the message that goes to the inbox.....

can i read any sms that come to my mobile using datagram....

You can receive any SMS message sent to the device using a datagram.

I have read that datagram doesnot work with outBoundListener.
That is i cannot listen outgoing sms using datagram..
If yes can u plz explain in programmatically form.
