I cannot get the phone call log object by using MENUITEM_PHONE. It always return null when i click on the menu item. It works fine in all devices with OS less than 6.0.
Anyone know how to solve this problem?

RIM did a very uneven implementation of this MENUITEM thing - on many OS versions, it returns a null object. I have reported it several times.

Check your "view" of the call log - I've noticed that some views will work, others will return the null, on some OS levels.
