Default Starting application in background - 01-16-2006, 12:40 AM

Hi all ,

I am developing with eclipse and am trying to develop/deploy an application that starts up in the background connects to a remote service and listens for events to collect - then when the user selects the application the last 10 messages are displayed. (this is not the actually application but the sub section i am having problems with)

How do i tell rapc that the application needs to be started in the background, and more specifically is there anything special I need to do in the jad.

Default Alternate entry point - 01-18-2006, 03:52 PM

You need to create an alternate entry point for your application. For this you'll need to use the JDE (unless you can duplicate the way RIM does whatever it does) in order to pass a string to your app. See this:
