Default Illegal State Exception

Please Login to Remove!

Pretty simple code I thought. I have a timer running and everytime the timertask runs I call the settext method of a label field. I'm using the labelfield as a status bar so I need to update the field everytime the timertask runs.

It works perfect in every OS except 6. For some reason in OS 6 it throws an illegalstateexception when I call the settext method.

What's going on with OS 6?

Found the solution else where. Sorry people. You simply have to surround the offending code with;

synchronized(Application.getEventLock()) {
todo
}
