Default buying an app

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how buying someone's app would play out?

Let's say I know a developer that has an app they're not updating and offered someone else to take further development over.

How would you put this app under a different account?

I'm having a hard time finding any info on this.
What are some things to look for? any experience to share?

No idea what you are talking about when you say "put this app under a different account".

If you purchase the rights to the app, you would get the source and publish it however you want to publish it.

my concern is that it would then become a different app, so it won't allow for a simple update, but will require a delete and new install.

If the name of the COD file changes, it is a different application. Otherwise, it is an update.
