"IT SAYS WARNING!: METHOD.....NOT INVOKED"

can someone tell me what that means. thanks

It means that the method was declared in a class but never called in that class.

It's a warning - ignore it. paint() is called by the GUI framework.

Depending of the object you are extending you may also need to override the definition of paintBackground(Graphics graphics)
