Please Login to Remove!

Hi
I have BB Bold 9780
and I have signed my app successfully through Blackberry 1.3.0 Plugin for
Eclipse
But when i tried to install my app on BB device it gives me
"Error - module 'go' attempts to access a secure api"
What could be the possible cause for this and
what is the solution for this ??

Hi Silwar,

I have exactly the same problem with my application... Did you get through this error?

Or does anyone else have an answer?

Many thanks

YOu have to obtain signature keys from Blackberry and sign the application.

Hi Dougsg38p,

Thank you for your answer.

However, I already obtained the signature keys from Blackberry and signed the application. Even when I am checking on the device (Options > Advanced Options > Applications / Modules > My_App) everything looks signed (Signer IDs: RBB, RCR, RRT)

My error appears especially when I try to use the java classes PersistentStore and PersistentObject (which need the RRT key).

Do you have any idea of what it could be please?

Many thanks

How are you installing the app on the device?

I am using Eclipse. In the window "Package Explorer", right click on my project > BlackBerry > Load Project(s) on Device...

But even when I am trying to use the command prompt [javaloader -usb load \Standard\6.0.0\My_App.cod] or [javaloader -usb load \Web\6.0.0\My_App.cod] I still have the same error...
