Hi, I post this here, I guess this should be the right thread to ask it.

My question is as follows. In the compnay in which I work we need to deploy a new recentely developped application from BES to a large amount of our users' BlackBerrys. We'd need to be able to deploy the application remotely from BES as the first icon in our staff BlackBerry desktop.

I don't know if there's a way to do this, because as I have tested if the application has not been installed previously in a BlacBerry an manually moved the icon to root folder, the new application is deployed as an icon in the download folder an it should be hiden to our BlackBerry user (we have download folder hidden in our users BlackBerries). We need to show it in at least as one of the first icons to make the application directly visible to our users. Could you help me?

This isn't possible. BES has no ability to control where an icon appears on the handheld as a result of being pushed via Software Configuration.
